Key Duties and Responsibilities
Food Preparation and Service
- Prepare, dish up, and serve food for both normal and therapeutic patients.
- Participate in all food production processes to ensure proper nutrition.
- Follow operational protocols for food safety and hygiene.
Cleaning and Hygiene Management
- Wash crockery, cutlery, pots, and pans used in the unit.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, floors, drains, and grids.
- Take out dustbins and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Clean and organize fridges, freezers, and storage areas.
Operational Support
- Work in any assigned area, including night shifts, according to rotation schedules.
- Adhere to human resources regulations and the Code of Ethics in the Public Service.
- Correlate duties to support nutritional care for patients and hospital clients.
