  • Qualification allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Auxiliary

  • As a Nursing Assistant, your responsibilities include:
  • Provide quality basic nursing care under the supervision of Enrolled and Registered Nurses
  • Nurse patients within the scope of practice as defined by SANC
  • Maintain safe and ethical nursing practices in allocated areas
  • Demonstrate integration of knowledge, skills, and attitudes for patient care
  • Implement infection control practices and manage medical waste properly
  • Maintain professional growth, ethical standards, and self-development
  • Perform shift work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
